Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has set an ambitious one-month deadline to kickstart medical colleges under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, as part of a broader push to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and address demographic challenges in the State.
At a high-level review meeting held at the Secretariat in Amaravati on Wednesday, Mr. Naidu directed officials to immediately begin construction of four medical colleges in Markapur, Madanapalle, Pulivendula, and Adoni under Phase-I. He also instructed that six additional institutions in Amalapuram, Bapatla, Penukonda, Narsipatnam, Palakollu, and Parvathipuram be taken up in Phase-II without delay.
