The Central Crime Station (CCS) police on Tuesday (April 21, 2026) arrested two persons in connection with burglary cases in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States, and recovered 216 grams of gold jewellery worth about ₹32 lakh.
The arrested accused were identified as I. Gopinath and D. Rambabu, natives of Kondapalli village in NTR District. Two other accused in the gang are absconding, the police said.
