CPI(M) expels member – The Hindu

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] has expelled T. Purushothaman, an AKG Bhavan branch member, for reportedly supporting rebel candidate in the Payyannur Assembly constituency V. Kunhikrishnan during the Assembly elections. Party sources said five local committee members were also likely to face disciplinary action.
