Two drivers killed in road accident in Ranipet

Two lorry drivers were killed in a road accident on Mullavadi Main Road near Kalavai town in Ranipet.

The deceased persons were identified as P. Arun Kumar, 23, a native of Arcot town, and E. Naresh, 25, a resident of Cheyyar. Initial inquiry revealed that Arun Kumar was driving a lorry from Cheyyar to Ranipet when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle and hit a tipper lorry, which was coming in the opposite direction.
