Election officials seize ganja from bus in Tiruvannamalai

Election officials and the police seized 30 kg ganja from an omnibus during a vehicle check in Tiruvannamalai on Saturday as part of enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct.

The police said that members of a Static Surveillance Team (SST) intercepted the vehicle near Venmani Koot Road that comes under Polur Assembly constituency in the district. During the check, the team initially found 10 kg of ganja from the bus.
