30-year-old dies after being attacked by Indian gaur in Karnataka

A 30-year-old person died after being attacked by an Indian gaur in a private estate near Marasanige in Kalasa taluk of Chikkamagaluru district in Karnataka on April 18.

Chetan encountered the bison while working in the estate in the early hours of the day. The animal hit him, and one of the horns pierced his abdomen. The local people took him to the government hospital at Kalasa, where he succumbed to the injury.
