The Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) Bengaluru Zonal Unit on Friday carried out a large-scale drug disposal drive, destroying seized narcotics worth an estimated ₹38 crore as part of its ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking.

A total of 128.75 kg of narcotics linked to 13 cases was incinerated at a certified facility. The destroyed substances included ganja, hydroponic ganja, cocaine, methamphetamine, and MDMA. Officials said the process was carried out in an environmentally compliant manner, adhering to prescribed safety and pollution control norms.
