The bomb threat to Hyderabad Metro Station in Uppal on Friday (April 17, 2026) turned out to be a hoax. A call was received claiming that a bomb was planted at the Metro station, prompting an immediate response from police and emergency teams.

Police teams rushed to the spot and conducted thorough checks with the assistance of the bomb disposal squad and dog squad.
