The film Dr Babashaeb Ambedkar was screened on a giant screen at open air theatre, Lalitha Kala Thoranam in Nampally, Hyderabad on Tuesday (April 14, 2026) evening

Telangana Tourism and Culture Department recommenced film screenings at the open air theatre, Lalitha Kala Thoranam in Nampally of Hyderabad from Tuesday (April 14, 2026). The entry is free of cost. The open air theatre is spread over a ground, which can accommodate around 4,000 people. The screenings begin at 6 p.m. everyday. 

As part of a five-day programme, to keep community art spaces active and vibrant, Telangana Film Development Corporation screened the film Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on Tuesday (April 14, 2026), on the occasion of Babasaheb’s birth anniversary.
