Kalaburagi police crack multiple theft cases, trace stolen gold, mobile phones and cattle

The Kalaburagi district police cracked multiple theft cases across the district, leading to the recovery of valuables and the arrest of six persons, Superintendent of Police Adduru Srinivasulu has said.

Addressing a press conference on April 13, Mr. Srinivasulu said that the police seized 119 grams of gold ornaments, 85 grams of silver articles, and ₹28,000 in cash from Appaji Gangaram Chauhan (22) of Kaunsarnayak Tanda and Mithun Laxman Chauhan (23) of Honnalli Tanda in Aland taluk. The duo were arrested. The total value of the stolen goods is estimated to be ₹18.46 lakh.
