Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday (April 13, 2026) directed officials to ensure all government welfare hostels are fully equipped and ready before schools reopen in June, stressing that there should be no complaints from students regarding basic amenities.

Reviewing the performance of various departments from the Real-Time Governance Society (RTGS) at the State Secretariat on Monday, the Chief Minister said adequate funds have already been allocated for improving hostel infrastructure. He called for continuous monitoring, proper maintenance, and regular inspections by senior officials, particularly focusing on food quality, drinking water, cleanliness, and hygiene.
