With the southwest monsoon expected to set in by June, Kodagu Deputy Commissioner S.J. Somashekhar has directed officials to ensure adequate supply of fertilizers to meet the farmers’ demand in the district.

Presiding over a meeting of the District Fertilizer Committee at his office in Madikeri on Monday (April 13), he instructed departments to maintain sufficient stock of key fertilizers such as urea, DAP, and MOP in line with anticipated demand.
