Of the five poll-bound States in April this year, the BJP has released manifestos for Kerala, Assam, Puducherry and West Bengal, where it aims to form governments.
Delving into State-specific issues, the tenor of all these manifestos is the same – development through ‘double engine sarkar’, a reference to the BJP being in power at the Centre and in the State. Ceding space to its ally AIADMK in Tamil Nadu, the BJP has not released a separate manifesto.
