As many as 10 passengers were injured when a private bus overturned at Shikaripur in Shivamogga district of Karnataka on April 13. The driver had applied the brake suddenly to avoid hitting a biker who came in the way of the bus, which led to the accident.
The bus had just reached Shikaripur from Shivamogga, when the accident occurred. Local people rushed to the spot and rescued the injured persons. The injured persons were taken to hospitals in Shivamogga. Seven are under treatment at McGann Hospital and three in a private hospital.
