The Bengaluru Traffic Police registered 979 cases during a week-long special enforcement drive against drunk driving and speeding across the city from April 6 to April 12.

The intensive drive was carried out simultaneously across all 53 traffic police stations, targeting motorists driving under the influence of alcohol and those violating speed limits.
