Election officials seize ₹10.50 lakh unaccounted cash in Ranipet

Election officials and police seized unaccounted cash to the tune of ₹10.50 lakh during a vehicle check in Ranipet town on Sunday as part of enforcement of Model Code of Conduct.

The police said that members of a Static Surveillance Team (SST) intercepted a car near the roadover bridge in town around 5 a.m on Sunday. During the check, the team found ₹10.50 unaccounted cash in the vehicle.
