Rajiv Tandon, chief executive officer, BITS Pilani Digital, on Sunday said that thousands of new jobs will come up like AI explainers, AI sustainers who watch how AI functions, and AI designers. AI will cause jobs to be transformed, not displaced. Repetitive tasks that form part of old jobs are being automated.

Speaking at The Hindu Education Fair on the ‘Future of work and learning in the AI Era’, he said when you add AI contextually to your jobs, your performance level goes up work. That is called co-intelligence. However, your core domain knowledge will not go away.
