All India Congress Committee (AICC) in-charge for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Girish Chodankar said on Saturday that the Congress’s star campaigners, Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi, will soon campaign in the State.

Explaining why Mr. Gandhi did not share the stage with Chief Minister M.K. Stalin when he visited Puducherry, he said, “The programmes of the leaders were pre-fixed. Mr. Rahul Gandhi had a programme in Kerala that day and the Chief Minister had a programme in Tamil Nadu. Congress and DMK cadres shared the dais with the leaders. Only the Opposition parties are trying to create an issue.”
