A boat carrying tourists capsized in Yamuna in Vrindavan on Friday (April 10, 2026) afternoon, leaving at least 10 people dead and several others missing.

About 17 people have been rescued so far, Mathura’s District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh confirmed, adding that efforts are on to locate the others. He reported six fatalities earlier and later rescuers recovered four more bodies, taking the toll to 10.
