In a swift action, Bengaluru police rescued a 28-year-old man from a life-threatening situation after he posted a distressing message on his WhatsApp status.

The incident occurred on April 8 around 6.35 p.m. in Munireddy Layout near Garvebhavipalya at Begur in southeast Bengaluru. The 28-year-old man had posted a message: “Today is my last day”, which was seen by a friend. The friend immediately alerted the Namma 112 Emergency Helpline.
