TGSRTC employees get 2.1% hike in Dearness Allowance

The Telangana government on Friday (April 10, 2026) announced an enhancement of Dearness Allowance for Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGARTC) employees by 2.1%.

According to Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, the revised DA, which will be in effect from January 1, 2026, now stands at 52.8%. The move will add to ₹2.82 crore per month as financial burden on the state road transport undertaking..

Mr. Prabhakar said that the arrears for the past three months will be paid by means of supplementary bills spread over the next three months. He noted that the government had earlier increased DA by 2.1% in July 2025, from 48.6% to 50.7%.
