Kerala Assembly Elections 2026: 200 first-time voters receive halwa in Palakkad

Two hundred first-time voters in Palakkad district had a delightful start to exercising their democratic rights at 60 model polling booths.

To celebrate the occasion, they were treated to Kozhikodan tender coconut halwa, specially prepared at the request of Chief Electoral Officer (Kerala) Rathan U. Kelkar. The sweet gesture added a festive touch to their first voting experience, making it both memorable and joyful.
