Amid growing concerns among autorickshaw drivers over long queues at LPG bunks, the Karnataka government has claimed that there is no shortage of supply and urged the public not to fall prey to rumours.

In a statement, the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department said reports claiming long queues of autorickshaws outside fuel stations are misleading and largely driven by misinformation. The department advised auto owners and drivers not to panic and to ignore unverified claims regarding fuel availability.
