To get the Bengaluru traffic moving and ensure overall pedestrian safety, the city requires 25 new underpasses, 35 short flyovers, and 101 skywalks, along with nine other civic works, according to a recent comprehensive analysis by the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP).

In addition, the report identifies the need to clear flooding points, remove speed breakers, shift BMTC bus stops, install bus bays, improve junctions, enhance signage, and develop multi-level car parking systems.
