Patriot new release date announced: Know when Mohanlal and Mammootty’s film hit theatres

The makers of Mohanlal and Mammootty’s highly anticipated film Patriot revealed the new release date on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Written and directed by Mahesh Narayanan, the film also stars Fahadh Faasil and Nayanthara in lead roles.

For the unversed, the Malayalam action thriller Patriot was initially scheduled for release on April 23, 2026, but will now hit theatres on May 1, 2026.

Sharing the release date announcement poster, Mammootty on Instagram wrote, “#Patriot In Cinemas Worldwide from May 01 , 2026 (sic).”
