Bengaluru South City Corporation Commissioner K.N. Ramesh chaired a monthly meeting with Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) on Tuesday (March 31), focusing on the corporation’s 2026–27 budget, ward-level development works, and grievance redressal mechanisms.

Mr. Ramesh announced that ₹2.25 crore has been allocated for each ward in the upcoming budget, with an additional ₹75 lakh earmarked specifically for maintenance works. “The corporation is planning a series of infrastructure projects, including flyovers, underpasses, and road widening initiatives, aimed at easing traffic congestion across the city,” he said. Mr. Ramesh said a new system is being introduced to improve accountability and asset management, focusing on enabling citizens to voluntarily monitor corporation-owned properties and assets.
