Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy delivering the keynote address at the inaugural Artificial Intelligence (AI) Symposium hosted by the Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University in Boston on March 27, 2026.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy suggested a novel proposal where he wanted the introduction of the “People Credits” policy for AI companies, similar to carbon credits used to offset pollution, and under this framework, large corporations would be required to compensate or support workers who lose jobs due to AI-led automation.

Describing AI as one of humanity’s greatest inventions, the Chief Minister cautioned that it was a double-edged sword. “If not handled carefully, its adverse impacts could outweigh its benefits,” he said.
