Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Andhra Pradesh unit will launch a State-wide outreach programme titled ‘Mana Ooru–Mana Jenda’ from April 6, marking the party’s 75th foundation year, State president P. V. N. Madhav announced on Monday (March 23).

Unveiling the campaign poster in Vijayawada along with party leaders, Mr. Madhav said the initiative aims to take the party’s journey and the Centre’s development initiatives to every household across the State. The campaign will begin on the party’s foundation day and continue for six months in its first phase, covering villages across Andhra Pradesh.

Highlighting the party’s 75-year journey from Jana Sangh to BJP, he said the programme would focus on strengthening grassroots connect and promoting the vision of “Viksit Bharat”. BJP leaders and cadre will visit villages to create awareness about Central government schemes and infrastructure development works.

Mr. Madhav said the campaign would educate people about funds allocated by the Centre for rural development, including construction of CC roads, drainage systems, LED lighting, village secretariats, anganwadi centres, and crematorium facilities. He also highlighted welfare schemes such as housing under rural housing programmes, tap water connections through Jal Jeevan Mission, and LPG distribution under Ujjwala Yojana.

The BJP leader said awareness would also be created on food security initiatives, healthcare schemes, and farmer service centres to ensure benefits reach eligible beneficiaries. As part of the programme, BJP workers will monitor implementation of development works at the village level and help resolve public grievances by bringing them to the notice of officials.

He added that party flags will be hoisted in villages and special arrangements will be made for people to watch Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ broadcasts.

Senior leaders, including Matta Prasad, Garapati Ram Anjaneya Chowdary, Adari Anand, and Chigurupati Kumaraswamy, were present at the event.
