Apply online by April 6 for setting up 12 private unaided junior colleges in Andhra Pradesh

The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), Andhra Pradesh, has invited applications from registered educational societies and Trusts for establishment of 12 new private unaided junior colleges for the academic year 2026-27.

The 12 mandals identified for starting the new junior colleges are Yadiki in Anantapur district, Vetapalem in Bapatla, Rangampeta in East Godavari, Devanakonda in Kurnool, Chandarlapadu in NTR district, Nadendla in Palnadu, Rentachintala also in Palnadu, Kurichedu, Pedaraveedu and Pullalacheruvu mandals in Prakasam district, Mandasa in Srikakulam district and Mogalthur in West Godavari district.

In a statement, BIE Secretary P. Ranjit Basha said the managements should upload prescribed application Form-I online for establishment of a new private unaided junior colleges from the official website (https://bie.ap.gov.in) of APBIE from March 23, 2026.

He said the inspection team should download the BIE Geo-Tagging app in their smartphone as per link provided in the application form and download the photos of college building, classrooms, labs, library, playground etc., and submit inspection report by using this app.

He said the BIE would verify all the application forms with geo-tagging images/locations thoroughly and after satisfying all the conditions/norms, provisional permission and provisional affiliation would be issued following submission of fixed deposit receipt, teaching staff particulars and declaration for starting of new private unaided junior college.

The last date for submission of the online application, uploading of required documents and geo-tagging of images was April 6, 2026, he informed, clarifying that no concession, extension of time, conditional permissions or condonation requests would be entertained by the Board under any circumstances.
