To manage the surge in passenger demand during the upcoming Ugadi festival, the South Western Railway has announced a pair of Special Express trains between Yesvantpur and Hosapete.

Train No. 06533 Yesvantpur–Hosapete Express Special will depart Yesvantpur at 6:15 p.m. on March 18 and arrive in Hosapete at 4 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 06534 Hosapete–Yesvantpur Express Special will leave Hosapete at 9 a.m. on March 19 and reach Yesvantpur at 7.20 p.m. the same evening.

The trains will halt at Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Chikjajur, Chitradurga, Rayadurg, Ballari Cantonment, and Tornagallu stations in both directions. Officials said the service aims to ease travel congestion during the festive period.
