Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy sent a stern message to the Congress MLAs over the attendance during the Assembly sessions calling for discipline and coordinated strategy in the Assembly to counter the opposition’s criticism.

Addressing the legislators in the Assembly Hall, the Chief Minister reportedly expressed displeasure over the casual approach of some members and the absence of a few MLAs at crucial meetings. He made it clear that attendance is mandatory.

“Do not speak on unnecessary issues. Come prepared to the House,” he told the MLAs, stressing that debates in the Assembly must be focused and effective. He cautioned members against engaging in informal conversations during proceedings, underlining that the party must present a united and sharp response to issues raised by the Opposition.

Mr. Reddy directed legislators to articulate the government’s narrative and be ready with facts and arguments to counter the Opposition on key matters. “We must give a strong counter in the House on every issue,” he said.

The Chief Minister also advised Ministers to allocate adequate time to MLAs and respond promptly to their concerns. “Ministers should give time to MLAs and respond to issues. I too will make myself available,” he assured, indicating that coordination between the government and party legislators would be strengthened.

Highlighting the importance of the forthcoming Budget, the CM said it would be innovative and people-centric. He indicated that priority would be given to the health and education sectors.
