The GMR School of Aviation, located in Hyderabad, has partnered with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya to address the growing skill gap in the country’s aviation industry. The collaboration aims to integrate academic learning with industry-oriented technical training, enabling students to gain specialised knowledge and hands-on exposure aligned with real-world Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) requirements.
Through the partnership, students will gain access to a specialised curriculum for the B.Sc. (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) programme that is recognised under the relevant regulatory and academic frameworks. The partnership was announced during the inaugural session of the MRO South Asia Summit 2026 held in New Delhi on Wednesday, March 11.
