Demonstrators gathered near the Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad after Friday (March 6, 2026) afternoon prayers to protest the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei by the USA-Israeli forces.

The protest, which was peaceful, but under the watchful eye of the police, was organised by organisations such as the Tehreek Muslim Shabban, and others, and saw participation of Shia cleric Taqi Raza Abedi, and Congress leader Rashed Khan. People from across sects joined hands to condemn the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader.
