Kurnool Municipal Corporation counters to remain open on holidays also for payment of taxes

All counters for payment of property tax, water bills, and trade licence fees will remain open on all days, including on holidays, till March 31 for the citizens to pay taxes, Kurnool Municipal Corporation (KMC) Commissioner P. Viswanadha has said.

As the current financial year will come to an end on March 31, the KMC has set up special counters at several places in the city apart from the regular ones. The special counters set up to collect taxes at Dandigeri, Peddavadakav 20 and 21 secretariat, KMC old office, B Camp, Arora Nagar 56 and 57 secretariat, Guru Raghavendra Nagar, Rajiv Gruhakalpa 92 and 93 secretariat, Lakshmi Nagar, JNR Nagar 61 and 62 secretariat, and Kallur will work on holidays also from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Citizens can also pay taxes at the online seva centres and through UPI, the Commissioner said.
