The Kerala High Court on Tuesday (March 3) received a bomb threat, which later turned out to be a hoax.
Bomb squads and dog squads conducted an extensive security check following an alert from the High Court. However, nothing suspicious was found, police sources said.
The email containing the threat was sent to the official email address of the court. The message, reportedly, claimed that a bomb would explode at the court at 12.15 p.m.
The police were yet to register a case as no formal complaint was filed, an officer with the Ernakulam Central police said. On Monday (March 2), bomb threats were received at the Regional Passport Office and the General Post Office.
