The PM had a phone call with Sultan of Oman, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the PM office said.

“He also had a conversation with Crown Prince of Kuwait H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah,” the office of the Prime Minister added.

“During both discussions, the Prime Minister expressed concern at the attacks in the respective countries and discussed the welfare and security of the Indian community,” the PM Office further said.

The Ministry of External Affairs, on Tuesday (March 3, 2026), said that India “strongly reiterates its call for dialogue and diplomacy”, and “urged all sides to exercise restraint, avoid escalation and prioritise the safety of civilians”.

Noting the rise in intensity of the conflict, the MEA said in a statement, “Unfortunately, in the holy month of Ramadan, the situation in the region has deteriorated significantly and continuously.”

Mr. Modi on Monday (March 2, 2026) spoke with the King of Bahrain, Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman.

Mr. Modi on Monday (March 2, 2026) also announced his conversation with King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa and thanked him for the “steadfast support extended to the Indian community in Bahrain”. “India condemns the attacks on Bahrain and stands in solidarity with its people in this difficult hour,” he said.
