Agripreneur Kavita Mishra has emphasised the need for integrating scientific knowledge with agriculture to enhance productivity and environmental sustainability.

Inaugurating a State Level Science Fest Vigyan Utsav 2026 organised by P.C. Jabin Science College in Hubballi recently, she elaborated on the scientific methods used in sandalwood cultivation, crop diversification and sustainable agriculture practices.

She encouraged students to explore agriculture and highlighted its role in national development and self-reliance. She also motivated girls to break barriers by believing in their abilities and being determined and confident in pursuing their dreams.

Principal Sandhya R. Kulkarni presided over the programme, while IQAC coordinator Rajesh Nairy K. shared an overview of the fest.

The fest featured a variety of intellectually stimulating competitions, including BrainBlitz, Science quiz, InnovateX model making, logic arena debate, concept canvas poster presentation along with interactive sessions and scientific exhibits.

It provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity, scientific thinking and innovative ideas.
