BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao has alleged that the A. Revanth Reddy Government had pushed Hyderabad into abyss in all sectors and people are facing problems in every walk of life from sanitation to public transportation and from industrial progress to trade and commerce.

In a meeting with party leaders of Hyderabad on Saturday, he alleged that irregularities, corruption and scams of the ruling party had destroyed the reputation of the city. The government was neglecting people’s problems and instead focusing only on the economic interests and real estate business of the ruling party leaders.

That was the reason why the Revanth Reddy Government was eyeing government lands in and around the City with the help of HYDRAA, HILT policy, TDRs (transferable development rights) and fourth/future city. The Congress Government had been focusing only on the real estate business for the last 24 months.

With a view making a fast buck the government was sparing all its energies for the development of the fourth city by neglecting the existing city, Mr. Rama Rao alleged. The meeting discussed the party’s action plan for the issues to be raised at the coming Assembly session.

For coordination of the party activities in Greater Hyderabad, Mr. Rama Rao made MLC Dasoju Sravan and former MLC Karne Prabhakar in-charges of GHMC area, MLC Shambipur Raju for Malkajigiri Corporation, MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy for Cyberabad area.

All MLAs, MLCs, former MLAs and MLCs and other senior leaders of the party participated in the meeting.
