Senior journalist Tanuja Naik was honoured with Avva Seva Trust’s endowment award at an ceremony and a seminar organised by the Gadag district unit of Karnataka Union of Working Journalists in Gadag on Thursday.

Chairman of Legislative Council Basavaraj Horatti who has instituted the award in the name of his mother Gangavva Shivalingappa Horatti, said that with the aim of encouraging woman journalists, the award is being given.
