Among the Members of Parliament (MPs) nominated to the Parliamentary Friendship Groups, Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde is the youngest MP to lead a group.

The 39-year-old MP from Shiv Sena has been nominated as the president of the India-Indonesia Parliamentary Friendship Group. NCP SP MP Supriya Sule, another MP from Maharashtra, has been nominated as the president of the India-Singapore Parliamentary Friendship Group.
