A bid of Rs 1.74 lakh per square yard in Gachibowli was received during a public auction of Telangana Housing Board’s (THB) properties on Monday (February 23, 2026). The Board generated  revenue of ₹34.27 crore by sale of the properties in Gachibowli, Kukatpally, Bowrampet, Chintal, a flat in Nizampet and others, said V.P. Gautham, vice-chairman of THB.

Except for the flat and an open plot in Bachupally, the other open plots were in the Middle Income Group (MIG) and High Income Group (HIG) categories. The notification for the properties was issued on February 9, in which 50 people participated.

The offset price for the 263 square yards plot in Gachibowli was ₹50,000 and it attracted the bid of ₹1.74 lakh. The 266 square yards property in Kukatpally’s Balaji Nagar received a bid of ₹1.64 lakh. The 2,600 square yards plot in Bowrampet received bid of ₹61,000. The open plots in Chintal attracted ₹Rs 84,000 per square yard and ₹74,000 per square yard. While the minimum price of the flat in Nizampet was ₹Rs 15 lakh, it was sold for ₹17.70 lakh.
