An intermediate second year student allegedly ended his life by jumping in front of a moving train on Monday (February 23, 2026). The student identified as Ganesh (17) was studying in a corporate college under Penamaluru police station limits. According to the police, Ganesh took the extreme step fearing action after the college principal reprimanded the first and second year students, reportedly following a clash between two groups at the institution on Sunday (February 22).
