Two including veteran CPI functionary killed in road accident

A 73-year-old man and his son-in-law were killed when a speeding car rammed into their motorcycle on Rajiv Rahadari (State Highway-1) on the outskirts of Kothapalli village in Thimmapur mandal of Karimnagar district on Saturday.

The victims were identified as Sriramula Ramchandram, 73, a senior CPI functionary of Kondapalkala village in Manakondur mandal, and his son-in-law Srinivas, 40.

The duo met with a tragic end when a Hyderabad-bound car hit their motorcycle from behind at a high speed near Kothapalli.
