Good campus placement offers for Cusat students

Around 500 students of Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) have reportedly received placement offers from various recruiters as part of the ongoing placement drive.

Neraly 70 companies have visited the campus. Ten recruiters have offered packages above ₹10 lakh per annum. The highest CTC stands at ₹43 lakh annum, while the average salary package is ₹6.55 lakh a year, according to a release.

Some of the recruiters include Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Tata Consultancy Services, IBN Technologies, MRF Limited, Ernst&Young, Infosys, HashedIn by Deloitte, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, JSW Group, JLL, UST Global, Sobha Limited, Larsen & Toubro Construction, Tata Consulting Engineers, Visteon Corporation, Alstom, Reliance Industries, Cairn Oil & Gas, Federal Bank, and Vedanta Limited, it said.

Deepa Balakrishnan, chief placement officer, said that the ongoing placement season had seen increased participation from new companies, particularly for Computer Science and allied branches indicating the expanding opportunities for students across disciplines, according to the release.
