A woman was found dead at Siddapura in Bhadravathi on Friday, six days after her husband, a policeman, ended his life.

Swathi was found dead at her residence, and she had left a note addressed to her mother. She reportedly mentioned a person’s name, accusing him of harassing her.

Swathi was married to Jagadish, who worked for the Karnataka State Industrial Security Force, in 2019. The couple had two daughters. Jagadish ended his life, allegedly due to depression, on February 14.

Swathi’s mother, Bhagya, has filed a complaint with Bhadravathi New Town Police Station seeking an investigation into her daughter’s death. She had attached her daughter’s message along with her complaint.
