Former Uppal MLA and senior BJP leader NVSS Prabhakar on Friday led a rally in Ramanthapur demanding the Government and the GHMC to give permission to erect statues of cultural, patriotic and spiritual heroes who fought against the Nizam rule and the atrocities of the Razakars – for the benefit of the next generation. The participants took out a rally carrying the portraits of Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud, Sant Sevalal, P.V. Narasimha Rao, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and others, said a press release.
