The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has extended the last date for payment of examination fee for the certification course “Introduction to Quantum Computing: Quantum Algorithms and Qiskit” to February 23, 2026.

In a statement on Friday (February 20), council Secretary B. Tirupati Rao informed that the certification examination was being conducted in association with National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL). Eligible students from Andhra Pradesh can now complete their examination fee payment of ₹500 till February 23, 2026 through the designated online portal, he said, adding that the application and payment window was live from February 16 to 23, 2026.

Mr. Rao said important links that the students should look for were the APSCHE website: https://apsche.ap.gov.in, eligible students list: https://apsche.ap.gov.in/Pdf/Final%20Eligible%20Quantum%20course%20List%2016226.pdf and payment link: https://qcce.aptonline.in/NPTELCET/HomePage

This certification course provides students with a strong foundation in quantum computing concepts, quantum algorithms, and hands-on implementation using Qiskit. The course could be accorded an academic weightage of 1 credit. It represents a significant opportunity for students to gain exposure to emerging technologies aligned with India’s quantum mission and future-ready skill development initiatives, he said.

The Secretary said to support inclusivity and accessibility, IBM has provided the course content in Telugu language (MP3 and SRT files) to benefit Telugu medium students, particularly from general degree colleges across the State. Telugu Version course link: https://nptel.ac.in/courses/106106232

He said the council strongly encourages all eligible students to complete fee payment within the stipulated time, revise core quantum computing concepts, practice quantum circuits and algorithms using Qiskit, attempt mock tests and sample problems and reach examination centres well in advance with required documents.

“Students are advised to utilise this opportunity to strengthen their knowledge in quantum technologies and perform confidently in the examination,” he said, adding that for queries, students may contact: nptelquantumcomputing@apsche.org.
