TGTET–January 2026 results announced; 51.37% qualify

A total of 1,00,270 candidates (51.37%) including 37,893 in-service teachers qualified the Telangana Teachers’ Eligibility Test January 2026, as per the results announced by the Directorate of School Education late on Tuesday (February 10).

Of the total qualified, in-service teachers recorded a better performance (57.76) than other applicants (48.14).

The test saw an attendance of 1,95,181 candidates and the maximum 71,198 for paper-1, for primary teachers, followed by paper-2 Maths & Science (69,861) or Social Studies (54,122) for School Assistants. Results showed that the maximum qualified candidates too remained in the same order — paper-1 at 72%, 42.37% and 35.86% for paper-2.
