The NDA Alliance leaders and cadre staged a demonstration across Rayalaseema on Sunday (February 01, 2026) protesting the alleged offensive remarks made by YSRCP leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu against Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

In Tirupati, the party leaders led by MLA Arani Srinivasulu staged protest at Garuda Circle in Alipiri, while another team led by Deputy Mayor R.C. Munikrishna, TUDA chairman C. Divakar Reddy, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) chairman A. Ravi Naidu and former MLA M. Sugunamma protested at Ambedkar Circle.

The leaders called the ‘unparliamentary comment’ against the head of the State as bearing testimony to the ‘YSRCP’s culture’.

“The YSRCP leaders have a strong feeling that making abusive comments against the political opponents only can highlight them in the eyes of their party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy,” said Mr. Divakar Reddy.

“While the government is bent on bringing in development and taking welfare schemes to the reach of the public, the politically unemployed YSRCP is leaving no opportunity to trigger trouble,” said Mr. Munikrishna.

Mr. Ravi Naidu warned that any wild comment or unsubstantiated allegation against Mr. Chandrababu Naidu and Mr. Nara Lokesh would be dealt with retaliation in similar proportion.

In Chandragiri, TDP MLA Pulivarthi Nani led a demonstration, where he condemned the attack. “The discipline nurtured by our TDP leadership is coming in the way of our response in a similar manner,” he said.
