Kalasuruchi, in association with the Indian Institute of Educational Theatre (IIET), has organised ‘Two Fathers’, an English play that promises a compelling theatrical experience rooted in ideas, ethics, and human values. Written by philosopher and thinker Sundar Sarukkai and directed by theatre practitioner Badarinarayan, the play brings two contrasting world views into sharp dialogue on stage, the organisers said.

“The play imaginatively brings together Einstein and Gandhi, two towering personalities. While their paths to truth differ, both seek a better future for humanity. Through art, the play reimagines reconciliation, symbolising a meeting of the head and the heart,” a press release said.

The play will be staged on January 31 (Saturday) at 6:30 p.m. at the Indian Institute of Educational Theatre, Hardwicke School premises, JLB Road, Mysuru. Entry to the performance is free, and theatre enthusiasts, students, and the general public are can attend.
